A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist near Quincy, MA for the 2026-2027 school year. This position covers a maternity leave from November 2026 through March 2027, supporting elementary students at a single school. You will collaborate with an experienced SLPA who manages part of the caseload, allowing for a balanced workload. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 2:33 p.m., for a total of 34 hours per week. This is an excellent role for a dedicated SLP-CCC passionate about making a difference in a dynamic educational setting.
Required Qualifications:
- Current licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- Valid or eligible Massachusetts Board of Allied Health license
- Active Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Experience working in school-based settings, specifically at the elementary level
- No Clinical Fellows (CFs) can be considered for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse group of elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with the onsite SLPA to coordinate caseload and therapy delivery
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and required reports
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive student support
- Engage with teachers, staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
