This short-term assignment runs from June 8th to June 18th, with consistent Monday through Friday hours, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact in just 10 days—while also opening doors for future opportunities this summer and in the upcoming academic year.

In this role, you’ll work 1:1 with a male elementary student, focusing on academic support, behavioral guidance, and daily routines. You’ll collaborate closely with teaching staff to implement individualized learning and behavior plans, ensuring the student’s school experience is positive and successful.

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
• Current and valid paraprofessional credentials/certifications required by Washington state
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students and staff
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily in-classroom and occasional out-of-classroom support for one elementary male student
• Help adapt assignments and activities to promote inclusion and access
• Support positive behavior, encourage independence, and model respectful interactions
• Foster a safe, engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents as needed
