An established California workers' compensation defense firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop their workers' compensation defense practice in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, reports, and correspondence.

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other case participants.

• Monitor deadlines, case activity, and billing requirements.

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case strategy and management.

• Maintain high standards of organization, accuracy, and client service.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.

• 1+ year of workers' compensation defense experience preferred.

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to manage matters independently while working effectively within a team.

• Detail-oriented, motivated, and committed to professional growth.

Training: Candidates located near Calabasas, CA are preferred and will complete an initial onsite training period before transitioning to remote flexibility.
