OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in East Orange, NJ by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely haul HAZMAT freight across regions
- Operate modern tractors equipped with APU, inverter, sleeper berth
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance needs
- Comply with FMCSA and HAZMAT regulations and maintain logs
Enjoy an average of 2,500 weekly miles, home every two weeks, strong mileage pay plus hazmat premiums, safe-driving bonuses, and a full suite of benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).
