Primary Care Physician – Geriatric Focus

Location: Mobile, AL

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Base Compensation: $250,000+ (commensurate with experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
• Annual Incentive Bonus: Up to 28% of base salary (average bonus ~$50,000)
• Partnership Opportunity: Eligible after 3 years (no buy-in required)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• No evening or weekend hours.
• Call schedule: 1:8 (light call responsibilities due to our care model).

Position Overview: Join a revolutionary healthcare team in Mobile, AL, as a Primary Care Physician focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the geriatric population. Our unique care model allows you to work with a manageable patient panel of approximately 400 seniors, enabling you to build meaningful relationships and provide personalized, concierge-level care.

Role Highlights:

• See 10–13 patients per day, allowing ample time for comprehensive, high-quality care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including Nurses, Medical Assistants, Case Managers, Social Workers, Care Team Representatives, and Community Outreach Specialists.
• Access on-site resources, including consulting specialists, echocardiography, EKG, and lab services, to provide seamless care.
• Focus on practicing at the top of your license, completing charting during office hours, and achieving a healthy work-life balance.
• Play an active role in reducing barriers to care, such as arranging patient transportation through contracts with Uber and Lyft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive primary care with a focus on geriatric patients, addressing their unique medical, social, and emotional needs.
• Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services in a supportive, team-based environment.
• Coordinate care with specialists and ensure seamless follow-up for patients requiring additional services.
• Engage in community activities like chair yoga, cooking classes, Silver Sneakers, birthday parties, and other senior-focused events to promote wellness and connection.
• Advocate for a concierge-style approach that enhances patient outcomes and satisfaction.
