Requirements
- 7 or more years of experience in technical project management for new product development and global manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and enterprise portfolio management tools.
- Experience with electromechanical consumer goods design, tooling development, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in managing international supply chains and coordinating with offshore vendors in Asia.
- Experience with QAD or comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience in managing injection molding, metal fabrication, and product validation testing lifecycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional product development cycles from initial conceptual design to mass production launch.
- Manage detailed project timelines, milestone tracking, and risk registers within Smartsheet.
- Coordinate product tooling, pilot builds, and manufacturing validation activities across global supplier networks.
- Direct operational deliverables with overseas suppliers, including leading asynchronous virtual status meetings.
- Deploy project management governance standards and lifecycle documentation for new product initiatives.
- Partner with sourcing and quality teams to establish product certifications and first production schedules.
- Monitor engineering change management workflows and first-run manufacturing validation metrics.
