Fleet Equipment Coordinator

About The Role The Fleet Equipment Coordinator is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of Company equipment by coordinating preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, and evaluating equipment needs. The Coordinator manages vendor relationships and service estimates, ensures compliance with manufacturer requirements and applicable regulations, and works closely with the Safety Department to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Essential Functions Develop and implement in conjunction with team, systems for scheduling resources, providing preventative maintenance, inventory control and vendor evaluations, as well as operational procedures Secure and analyze vendor quotes and estimates for services, tools, parts, and supplies Develop and maintain vendor list and continuously monitor overall quality of service provided Coordinate equipment transfers between project sites Maintain an organized list of assigned equipment Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment as needed Keep current on new technologies as they relate to management of equipment and apply accordingly Assist with buy/sell/lease options and alternatives Schedule preventative maintenance for designated equipment Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures Document work performed by utilizing system software programs Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations Coordinate with safety department to ensure a safe work environment is maintained Other duties as assigned Regular & predictable attendance Essential Functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment management Minimum 3 years of fleet experience Intermediate experience with accounting database systems Valid driver's license required Preferred Education Advanced degree in Equipment Service Management, Automotive Management or similar field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proficient with computer systems as they relate to utilization of scheduling of manpower/resources, implementation of preventative maintenance programs, inventory management systems Proficiency with MS Office applications Thorough knowledge of cost tracking Strong negotiation skills Strong commitment to safety Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills What We Offer Compensation & Benefits Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
