This role involves assembling mechanical components and equipment according to specifications, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the production process.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand and power toolsInterpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructionsInspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standardsPerform basic mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting, and rework as neededMaintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standardsFollow company procedures, safety protocols, and production schedulesWork collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnelQualificationsPrevious mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read and understand blueprints and technical drawingsComfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instrumentsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or GED requiredPreferred SkillsExperience with torque tools, calipers, and other precision instrumentsBasic knowledge of mechanical systemsSoldering or wiring experience (a plus, if applicable to your environment)
