Job Type: Full-time M-F

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Schedule: 8 hour work day

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality care and education to all children in the classroom, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space, adhering to all sanitizing procedures.
• Provide personal care and attention to the children's physical and emotional needs, ensuring they stay healthy, happy, and clean.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
• Conduct regular developmental checklists and adjust lesson plans accordingly to meet each child's evolving needs.
• Establish open communication with families, keeping them informed about their child's daily experiences.
• Keep detailed portfolios for each child, documenting their progress and milestones.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings, staying updated on best practices and center policies.
• Pursue annual continuing education to meet WI licensing requirements, ensuring ongoing professional growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the center.

Requirements

• Minimum one year experience in childcare
• Full time Monday - Friday
• 8 hour shifts
• Lead Teacher qualified
• WI Registry Level 7 preferred

Nice To Haves

• Fundamentals of Infant Toddler Care certificate or willingness to enroll in the required 50-hour online class upon hire.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, with a strong background in infant and toddler care.
• Experience mentoring colleagues, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and confidence.
• Abusive Head Trauma Training Certificate, ensuring expertise in identifying and addressing potential risks.
• Current Mandated Reporter Training Certificate, enabling you to report concerns and protect vulnerable children.
• Current Infant Child CPR with AED Certificate, guaranteeing you're equipped to respond in emergency situations.
• First Aid Training Certificate, providing you with the knowledge to address minor injuries and maintain a safe environment.
