Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you’ll be assigned to approximately five schools, providing physical therapy services to fewer than 30 students each week. With a workload of around 15-20 hours per week, you’ll have the time to focus on delivering high-quality, individualized care while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in North Carolina
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document student progress and adapt interventions as needed
• Work with teachers, administrators, and families to support student participation
• Travel between assigned schools as part of the weekly schedule
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
