Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid North Carolina OT license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, educational documentation, and therapy-based interventions for children and adolescents
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students, supporting their gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, and engagement in daily school tasks
• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results and recommendations to teachers, families, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise to best support each student’s academic and functional success
• Provide consultations and resources to school staff, recommending accommodations and strategies within the classroom setting
