Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students during the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week, working onsite with a manageable caseload of 13 students across three school sites—all conveniently located near Sanford, NC, with easy expressway access from Raleigh.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will help students overcome communication challenges and promote their academic and social growth. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between sites, ensuring your time and effort are valued.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families
• Proficiency with IEPs and progress documentation
• Adaptability to manage caseloads across multiple school locations

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement effective therapy plans for individual students
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ learning needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Maintain accurate and timely progress reports and documentation
• Travel between school sites as required (all within a close geographical area)
