Job Summary: As a Sous Chef at Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BOH operations, a proven track record of leadership, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. As a Sous Chef , you will be in a pivotal role ensuring the success of our establishments, overseeing operations and leading a team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to ensure a positive and high-performing team culture.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve operational excellence.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the BOH, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Uphold the highest standards of hospitality to create memorable experiences for our guests.
• Monitor and respond to guest feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in service quality.
• Drive financial success by managing budgets, controlling costs, and controlling COGS.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving financial targets.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
