ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re hiring a BDC Manager to build, lead, and drive results out of our Methuen CDJR Business Development Center. You’ll own the phones, the internet leads, the outbound follow-up, and — most importantly — the numbers: contact rate, appointments set, appointments shown, and appointments sold. This is a hands-on leadership seat for someone who can recruit, coach, and set the tone every single day. Compensation: $55,000–$85,000 per year, paid weekly (base + team performance bonuses on appointments set, shown, and sold). Top of the range is earned by managers who consistently hit KPIs and drive units to the sales floor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the day-to-day operations of the BDC — inbound calls, internet leads, chat, and outbound follow-up * Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop BDC Agents to hit their individual and team KPIs * Own the team scoreboard: contact rate, appointments set, appointments shown, and appointments sold * Monitor call quality, script adherence, and CRM discipline through live listens, call reviews, and one-on-ones * Build and refine outbound campaigns for unsold showroom, internet leads, service-to-sales, equity, and orphan owners * Own CRM hygiene — every lead worked, every follow-up completed, every promise kept * Partner with the Sales Manager, Floor Manager, and GSM on smooth hand-offs and second-chance follow-up * Run daily huddles, save-a-appointment meetings, and weekly one-on-ones * Report on activity and outcomes to leadership; adjust staffing, coaching, and campaigns to hit numbers * Represent the Methuen CDJR brand with professionalism and set the standard for the entire BDC

QUALIFICATIONS

* 2+ years of BDC Manager, BDC Lead, or high-volume call-center leadership experience required * Automotive dealership BDC experience strongly preferred; CDJR experience a plus * Proven track record of coaching agents to higher contact rate, appointment set/show, and units sold * Deep CRM proficiency (VinSolutions, Elead, DealerSocket, or similar); comfortable pulling and acting on reports * Excellent phone presence and written communication — you set the standard the team follows * High-energy, competitive, and accountable — leads from the front, not the back office * Strong recruiter and coach — you can build the team, not just manage it * Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
