Job Title: Client Service Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL 60606

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Contract Length: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $33.00/hr W2

Position Summary

Seeking a Client Service Analyst to support Shareholder Services within an asset management organization.

This position is ideal for an individual looking to deepen their client service focus, relationship management skills, and knowledge of the asset management business.

The role involves front-line communication with third-party wealth management clients and sales partners, specifically for Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) . The Client Service Analyst will manage client service needs across sales territories, sales channels, and client types while collaborating with Sales, Portfolio Management, Product Management, Legal, and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for clients and sales channels.
\n
• Support client onboarding, respond to inquiries regarding fund and portfolio information, resolve client-related issues, and execute client lifecycle events.
\n
• Communicate and collaborate with sales teams to deliver high-quality client service.
\n
• Analyze and resolve problems independently and collaboratively.
\n
• Monitor and escalate service issues to ensure timely and effective responses.
\n
• Participate in special projects involving asset development, retention, and automation.
\n
• Partner with management and service representatives to develop scalable, long-term service models.
\n
• Coordinate with trading desks to communicate trading activity status across client accounts.
\n
• Maintain a service environment focused on enhancing the client experience.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor's degree required.
\n
• At least 3 years of customer-facing financial services experience , ideally no more than approximately 7–8 years of total industry experience.
\n
• Experience supporting Financial Advisors, Wealth Management clients, Asset Management products, or Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) .
\n
• Ability to deliver superior client service to internal and external clients.
\n
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Outstanding leadership, time management, and relationship management skills.
\n
• Resourceful individual with high intellectual curiosity.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency when addressing client needs.
\n
• Experience in financial services, specifically Separately Managed Accounts and service to Financial Advisors.
\n
• Highly self-motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
