Physical Therapist - School Setting in Roxbury, MA

You'll be providing essential support from July 6, 2025, to August 7, 2025, working 30 hours a week (Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day). Your expertise will help students meet their developmental and functional goals, contributing to their overall academic success. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Ability to work with students across grades K-12, tailoring interventions to varied needs
• Thorough understanding of IEPs and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
• Safe Care Certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' physical abilities and design tailored interventions for improved function and mobility
• Implement therapy plans in line with IEP goals and school requirements
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with educators, classroom staff, and families to support student participation
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations as needed
• Supervise or guide support staff when appropriate
