Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately determine each client's unique mental health needs and strengths.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans, tailored specifically to meet individual client goals and circumstances.
• Provide therapeutic counseling for individuals, couples, and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive client care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in clinical supervision sessions, case conferences, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A demonstrated history of successful practice in providing individual and group therapy across various mental health contexts.
• Proficient in applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a focus on client outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• A commitment to ethical practices and thoroughly safeguarding client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of direct experience in a clinical counseling setting.
• Experience with specific therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus.
• Background in working with specific populations, including LGBTQ+ clients, veterans, or those with chronic mental health conditions, is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous base salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
