Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging procedures
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout exams, providing clear explanations about each step
  • Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
  • Detail all procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records within the electronic medical system
  • Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices
Required Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Essential Certifications
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
