Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonogram / Ultrasound Technician to join our expanding imaging team dedicated to excellence in patient care. Using cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic exams and collaborate with a team of esteemed healthcare professionals to deliver reassuring and accurate imaging results to patients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging procedures
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout exams, providing clear explanations about each step
- Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
- Detail all procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient technical knowledge of sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
