This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced accounting leader from a law firm or professional services environment who enjoys improving processes while remaining hands‑on with the day‑to‑day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Lead all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including the general ledger, month‑end/year‑end close, AP, AR, and financial reporting. Oversee legal billing, partnership accounting, cash flow forecasting, and multi‑entity accounting activities. Partner with executive leadership on financial reporting, budgeting support, and strategic financial initiatives. Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and policies while driving operational improvements. Lead and mentor the accounting team while coordinating with external CPA firms and supporting international accounting activities. Qualifications Progressive accounting leadership experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager. Prior experience within a law firm, legal services, or another professional services/partnership environment strongly preferred. Strong background in full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, month‑end close, and multi‑entity accounting. Experience with partnership accounting, legal billing, and attorney compensation is highly desirable.
