- Marketing Intern## •### @melonmashers\_baseballPosted on 11/24/2025•Full-time## Job Description**About the Mid-State Melon Mashers****Responsibilities*** Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive brand strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.* Create compelling outreach materials, presentations, and communications for community partners, sponsors, and media.* Support the planning, coordination, and execution of various marketing campaigns, promotional events, and game-day activations.* Conduct market research to identify trends, audience insights, and new opportunities to enhance brand awareness and fan engagement.* Contribute creative ideas and support for merchandise strategy, including design concepts and promotional planning.* Build, maintain, and update a detailed marketing calendar and outreach tracker, ensuring timely execution of initiatives.* Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and community management across various platforms.* Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including data entry, report generation, and presentation preparation.* Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure cohesive team efforts.**Qualifications*** Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.* Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent eye for detail.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).* Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.* Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.* Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.* A passion for baseball and the sports industry is a plus.**What You'll Gain*** Invaluable hands-on experience in sports marketing with a baseball team.* Opportunities to develop a diverse skill set in brand strategy, content creation, event planning, and digital marketing.* Mentorship from experienced professionals in the sports industry.* Networking opportunities within the Mid-State Melon Mashers organization and the broader sports community.* A chance to contribute directly to the success and fan experience of a local team.* \*This is an unpaid internship.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.LocationHybridRandleman, North CarolinaPayPay not disclosedSimilar roles/responsibilitiesMarketing Intern
