• $15.45 Per Hour, 20-25 Hours Per Week.
• Located at Exploration Lab at Camp Dellwood.

What You Will Do:

The Field Trip Coordinator is a dynamic thinker with a passion for teaching. This person is responsible for helping to create field trip curriculum and evaluating the success of programs.

The Field Trip Coordinator serves as point person for scheduling daily programming for field trips and sharing schedules with educators, maintains inventory and orders supplies, and is responsible for teaching field trip groups throughout the year, including providing summer programming for campers.

The field trips can take place during morning and/or afternoon hours.

How You Will Lead:

• Will work under the direction of the Director of Stem Experience to produce high quality field trip opportunities.
• Will interact with teachers, chaperones, and students throughout the field trip experience.
• Independently command the attention of Pre-K through 12th grade students to lead them through a variety of STEM and environmental based programs whether it be through onsite or reverse field trip experiences.
• Ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in youth.
• Prepare materials for activities, programs and events based on the current curriculum.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with community partners (i.e. school groups, youth groups, non-profit organizations).
• Work closely with the girl experience manager to research and develop new lesson plans as the program continues to grow and develop.
• Support summer camp initiatives through STEM Van and interactive hands-on experiences for campers.
• Will monitor inventory and order supplies in advance as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of program spaces before and after events, including tasks such as dusting, mopping, surface cleaning, and completing program-related laundry (laundry facilities available on site).
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and amongst the membership.
• Develops a depth of knowledge regarding the design of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and can easily articulate to any stakeholder the virtues of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of GSCI.

What We are Looking For:

• High school diploma: some college or college degree preferred.
• Organized, self-starter; ability to work independently or in teams.
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people from a variety of backgrounds.
• Basic knowledge of Girl Scout program preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Must hold membership in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the tenets of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Ability to stand on your feet for an extended period.
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds.
• Flexible work hours including evenings and weekends as required.
