Store Operations Coordinator

The Store Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational success of elysewalker’s retail store locations. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role coordinates facilities maintenance, vendor services, store communications, and operational initiatives to ensure consistent execution across all locations. Based in the Los Angeles area, the position requires regular travel to store locations and hands‑on support for store operations, projects, and new initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced retail environment. Key Areas of Responsibilities Store Operations Serve as a primary operational resource for store teams, providing support and follow‑through on operational needs and priorities. Coordinate and distribute operational communications, including process updates, announcements, and store‑facing resources. Conduct frequent store visits to assess front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operational consistency against established standards, document deviations, and partner with store teams and the Operations Manager to ensure corrective actions are completed. Support operational rollouts, store refreshes, seasonal transitions, and new initiatives by coordinating tasks and ensuring stores are prepared for execution. Assist with new store opening activities, including operational readiness, supply coordination, and project follow‑through. Coordinate store maintenance requests by scheduling vendors, tracking repairs, providing regular status updates to the Operations Manager, and confirming completion of work across all locations. Serve as a key support resource for store teams on facilities‑related needs by ensuring requests are documented, routed, and resolved in a timely manner. Conduct proactive maintenance check‑ins with store teams to identify and address issues before they become urgent. Assist with obtaining vendor quotes and coordinating services for repairs, maintenance, and operational projects. Maintain facilities trackers, vendor contact information, service records, and work order documentation within shared systems. Follow up with vendors and store teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance work and accurate documentation of completed repairs. Support fixture transfers, store refreshes, and storage logistics by coordinating scheduling, tracking, and execution across locations. Compliance & Administration Support compliance with company operational standards, policies, and health and safety requirements by documenting issues and escalating variances to the Operations Manager. Coordinate required store certifications, inspections, and license renewals by tracking deadlines, requirements, and completion status across all locations. Maintain operational and facilities trackers, calendars, and shared documentation within Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. Support updates to the Operations section of company Policies & Procedures by organizing inputs, tracking revisions, and distributing finalized updates to store teams. Track open action items across facilities and operational projects, following up with internal partners and vendors to support completion. Assist with entering and tracking store sales goals Required Skills 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, store management support, or a related multi‑site operational role. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across locations without constant supervision. Strong organizational skills with a consistent track record of follow‑through and closing the loop on open items. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable corresponding with store teams, vendors, and corporate leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) Familiarity with facilities coordination, vendor management, or maintenance tracking in a retail environment preferred. A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with high attention to detail and a genuine commitment to operational excellence.
