HR Generalist

Coordinate employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, retention, and compliance Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources Partner with training departments or identify external resources for employee and manager development Coach and assist managers with employee relations issues Drive people engagement through management training, site visits, mobile app usage, and quarterly ESAT action plans Draft, execute, review, and maintain personnel transaction records and government reporting statistics Champion talent review processes Prepare separation notices, RIF actions, and supporting documentation Conduct exit interviews and train managers on separations Consult with managers and finance on pay activities, wage reviews, and pay changes Guide management on performance management, discipline, PIPs, and CAPs Complete special projects, conduct research, organize information, and fulfill transactions Manage project expectations, communicate status, resolve concerns, and prepare reports Investigate employee relations issues and grievances and participate in personnel-related hearings Establish strong relationships with operations teams and maintain communication with sites and managers Travel as required Interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work; conduct performance evaluations; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience 2-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist Bilingual in English/Spanish May be required to have a valid driver's license and meet SBM Driver Approval requirements Completed all safety and task training certifications Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily May have supervisory responsibility within assigned divisions Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in employee relations, performance management, and compliance within human resources.
