The Accounting Manager will lead accounting for an auction and real estate company, reporting directly to the Owner and working closely with an administrative assistant. This role focuses on overseeing accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with tax regulations while managing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions. The manager will utilize standard accounting software such as QuickBooks, along with Excel, to support financial operations and audits, including frequent external and mostly internal audits. Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure tax compliance and manage related reporting
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions
• Oversee payroll management and ensure accuracy
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities
• Lead and mentor a large accounting team
• Utilize accounting software and Excel for financial analysis and reporting
