Exciting Opportunity for Emergency Department Registered Nurses!

Job Description:

- Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
- Shift: 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- Location Requirement: Must live over 75 miles from the facility (Travel) or within 75 miles (Local Rate)

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department
- PEDS experience highly desirable
- Verifiable travel nursing experience required
- Up-to-date resume showcasing relevant experience
- Skills checklist must match specialty
- Current AHA certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- Drivers license with matching address
- Active NY License verification via NURSYS Report
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at submission

Experience with EMR:
- Must have experience with EPIC

Unit Details:
- Unit: Emergency Department
- Patient Demographics: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
- Number of Beds: 64 beds
- 2 Triage
- 40 Acute
- 6 Super Track
- 2 Trauma
- 10 CDU
- 6 Psych

Common Patient Diagnoses:
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Trauma
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Cardiac Arrest
- Respiratory Failure

Specialty Equipment:
- Rapid Infusor
- Arctic Sun

Required Drips & Medications:
- Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
- Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG
- Anti-arrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido
- Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl
- TNK, Heparin, Insulin

Additional Information:
- Charge capability preferred
- Floating may be required
- Scrub color: Navy Blue
- Block scheduling not guaranteed
