This role both supports and leads several functions which enable our team to execute groups and events effectively, provide personalized and high-touch experiences for our VIP leisure guests, and represent our Michelin Key hotel in Jackson Hole through important community partnerships. REPORTS TO Director of Sales and Marketing WORK DYNAMIC/SCHEDULE Our Sales Coordinator is typically on property Monday through Friday from about 8am-4pm, except on occasional evenings or weekends as needed based on events or activations. KEY RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Sales and Event Managers, Pathfinders, and Guest Service Managers. External: Travel agencies, group & meeting planners, Marriott Global and Account Sales organizations, local community vendors and partners ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Primary lead catcher and distributor for the hotel, fielding both e-channel and phone leads and assigning to Sales Managers as needed Assists with managing group room blocks in support of our Conference Services Manager (i.e. rooming lists, updates, and special requests) Manages local partnerships and facilitates on-property activations in the hotel's common spaces as a way of providing fun, value-added experiences for our guests and the local community Manages pre-arrival reservations and arrangements (i.e. amenities and special requests) for luxury consortia guests (i.e. Fine Hotels and Resorts, Chase The Edit, and Luminous stays) Coordinates live music, yoga, and other guest-engagement bookings throughout the year Creates weekly event calendars, placed in our common spaces and guestrooms, which help guests discover the many happenings in Jackson Hole throughout their stay at The Cloudveil ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS College degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in hotel sales, preferably at an upscale, full-service hotel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage time effectively, handling multiple projects at a time and meeting deadlines Ability to effectively liaise between hotel and client, communicating clearly both verbally and through email Excellent attention to detail Sales aptitude, building relationships to assist with selling, upselling and re-booking the business Mastery of Microsoft Office PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands & work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
