Position Summary The Overnight Stocking Coach, Non‑Complex, Management leads and develops store teams, ensuring accurate stocking, excellent customer service, and financial performance while maintaining compliance with Walmart policies. Responsibilities Lead and develop teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates during store tours, providing feedback and guidance. Communicate and collaborate with associates at all levels regarding store operations, technology, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, delivering clear expectations and guidance for implementing business solutions. Model exceptional customer service standards using the One Best Way service model; manage customer service initiatives and community outreach programs. Resolve customer complaints and develop action plans to correct deficiencies. Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing profit/loss statements and managing budgeting, forecasting, and expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; implement action plans to mitigate shrink. Hire, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates; set clear expectations, provide recognition, and promote a culture of belonging. Coordinate job‑related activities and assignments, building accountability and measuring progress toward results. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; support the Open Door policy. Foster a workplace that respects individuality, embraces diversity, and encourages continuous learning and talent development. Act with integrity by upholding Walmart values and promoting regenerative impact through waste reduction and local giving. Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying EDLP and EDLC business models, and making decisions based on data insights. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, a successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. All associates must attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U or a comparable program; general work experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $100,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), and complex structure adjustments based on external factors.
