Global Finance Director

Our client is seeking a strategic, commercially astute global finance leader who will strengthen financial governance, deliver clear insight‑driven reporting, elevate operational performance, and build strong stakeholder relationships to support long‑term growth and partnership success. Key responsibilities:

• Lead the financial and commercial performance of a complex global client account.
• Drive strategic growth, value creation, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strong governance, financial control, and risk management across multiple regions.
• Create a single source of truth through accurate forecasting, reporting, and actionable business insights.
• Act as a strategic financial advisor to senior internal and client stakeholders, building credibility and influencing key business decisions.
• Develop and mentor a globally dispersed finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous development.

Candidate Profile:

• Educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline; professional accounting qualification advantageous.
• Proven track record as a senior finance leader in an international environment.
• Experience working in multi-site services for example hospitality, facilities management, catering, retail, logistics, aviation beneficial.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link financial performance to operational delivery and strategic growth.
• Confident operating at C‑suite level, with the credibility to challenge, influence, and build trust with senior executives.
• Experience improving forecasting accuracy, financial governance, and performance management frameworks.
• Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and able to succinctly articulate the story to both financial and non‑financial audiences.
• Comfortable balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders and navigating competing priorities.
