Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced certified surgical technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up instruments and equipment, and provide support to the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Active BLS certification.
• Must be certified surgical technician to work in New Jersey.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / surgical technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience with orthopedics including total joint replacement and fracture cases.
• Experience with spine procedures.
• Experience with DaVinci Xi robotics systems.
• Experience with urology, vascular, general/laparoscopic, podiatry, breast, and plastic/reconstructive surgeries.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a hospital operating room setting.
• Experience with on-call weekend coverage and rotational call schedules.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 to 15:30.
• Work days: Monday through Friday.
• On-call weekend coverage on a rotational basis.
