Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, offering flexibility to engage with clients from the comfort of your own workspace. As part of our outpatient team, you will collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to deliver integrated care while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice. Your schedule will typically follow a Monday through Friday format from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for regular and predictable working hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, the spectrum of treatment options available, and effective self-care techniques.

• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses complex client needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to continuously enhance your treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative atmosphere of learning and improvement.

• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client focus predominantly includes individuals grappling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, along with various underserved populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. As an LMFT, you will play a critical role in providing support and guidance to these diverse groups, emphasizing recovery and resilience in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
