Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized and actionable treatment plans that align with their goals and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients’ needs.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster a supportive recovery environment.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in an integrated care model, collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support.

• Remain informed on the latest research and developments regarding mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies and effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients by addressing stigma around mental health and supporting their varied needs, particularly those from marginalized or underserved populations.

The primary focus of this position is on individuals and families dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, as well as marginalized groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n
