Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients, developing individualized therapy plans tailored to unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions for diverse populations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for open discussion and healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate client care and develop holistic treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance in all client interactions.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, such as workshops and training sessions, to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC at Tree of Life Counseling Services will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health care. Our clients may present with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. As a counselor, you will help empower clients to navigate their circumstances and foster resilience through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
