Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations of each step
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is advantageous

Certifications Needed

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
