Billing and Collections Specialist FullTime Cumming, GA, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1046 The Billing and Collections Specialist will prepare service and installation project invoices for customers, maintain the accounts receivable, and follow up with customers for collecting payments. We are looking for a multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Must be detailed oriented with a great customer service focus. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner Communicate with field service technicians to verify work order information, labor hours, and materials used prior to invoicing Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues in a timely manner Apply customer payments and reconcile account balances Contact customers regarding past-due accounts through phone, email, and written correspondence while maintaining positive customer relationships Collaborate with other internal departments to resolve invoicing and payment concerns Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with month-end close process Prepare reports and analyses of customer accounts and outstanding balances Propose and participate in efforts to improve processes Qualification requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus 1 – 3 years of previous billing and accounts receivable experience Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency in MS Office Experience with accounting or ERP software preferred High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving, and Decision-making skills Full time positions qualify for benefits including health insurance, 401k, vacation, and sick pay.
