This full-time, onsite position plays a crucial role in supporting our team of physical therapists in delivering exceptional rehabilitative care to our patients. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of dedicated experience in physical therapy, coupled with a Bachelor's Degree and a current PTA license in Florida.

Work Environment

Located in the picturesque city of Boca Raton, our hospital setting is designed to promote efficient patient care and teamwork. You will join a skilled group of physical therapists and support staff in a fast-paced yet friendly atmosphere. Treatment hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a manageable patient volume of 1-2 patients per hour, allowing for thorough and personalized care. Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the execution of individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs and progress assessments.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises and various modalities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, ensuring adherence to care protocols and safety standards.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, highlighting any changes in their condition, and communicating these findings to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on prescribed exercises and self-care techniques that are vital for at-home rehabilitation.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Assist with administrative tasks including patient scheduling, intake processing, and follow-up communication, thereby enhancing the overall patient experience.
• Ensure all therapeutic equipment is clean, functional, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering strong relationships with patients and their families, making them feel valued and heard.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is mandatory.
