Salary: $63k – $73k/year Job Title: Office Manager/Bookkeeper Job #: 5926 Location: Latham, NY Category: Administrative & Customer Support & Payroll Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client is currently seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, journal entries, and general ledger activities using QuickBooks and Service Trade. Process payroll, certified payroll, labor allocations, union remittances, and monthly payment applications. Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and KPI tracking. Track job costs and labor hours, prepare purchase orders, and support project reporting. Handle HR administration, including onboarding, benefits, payroll support, compliance, and employee records. Manage workers’ compensation, insurance certificates (COIs), and annual audits. Order office supplies, maintain vehicle fleet records, and provide general office support. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3–5 years of accounting or office administration experience. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. HVAC, construction, or union payroll experience is a plus, but not required.
