Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Days position requiring an active Maine or compact RN license and at least 3 years of experience.

Details

• ICU setting including telemetry med/surg and telemetry cardiac patients
• Days shift, 7a-7p
• 13-week contract
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Holiday coverage required
• Flexible hours required

Requirements

• Active Maine or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• MOAB or CPI certification preferred but not required
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills required

Additional Information

• Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
• Works within a Catholic health ministry focused on compassionate, patient-centered care
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
