About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology Procurement to lead the enterprise-wide technology sourcing strategy. This executive will be responsible for defining and executing a multi-year technology procurement strategy that aligns with business priorities, serving as a subject matter expert on technology markets and sourcing best practices, and driving synergies across the organization. The role demands a strategic partner who can influence C-suite and senior business leaders, and who is adept at balancing fiscal stewardship with innovation enablement. The VP will also be tasked with architecting a best-in-class supplier management program, leading complex negotiations, and ensuring continuous improvement in supplier performance. To succeed in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 12 years' procurement experience, with at least 5 years focused on technology sourcing at an enterprise scale, and a proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and value creation. Deep expertise in negotiating complex technology agreements and experience in media, entertainment, retail, sports, or hospitality industries are essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred), professional certifications, and a strong background in IT governance frameworks and enterprise architecture principles. The role requires an executive presence, exceptional communication and influencing skills, and a collaborative leadership style in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
