Position Title Computer Solutions Specialist Job Summary Provide secondary systems support in addition to providing operational support and assistance for electronic networking activities and product-specific technical assistance across the college. Reports to the Director of Network and Users Services and has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education Associate’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred. Experience At least one year of comparable work experience is required. Familiarity and hands‑on experience with PC hardware and software applications, networking, and telecommunications. Skills Well‑developed problem‑solving and organizational skills Able to carry out a variety of tasks concurrently and move from one task to another as required Able to work under the pressure of deadlines Able to exercise sound judgement and take initiative as appropriate Able to communicate effectively with people lacking technical skills Good interpersonal skills Physical ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds and climb small ladders, as necessary for equipment installation and maintenance Sufficient dexterity to be able to repair equipment efficiently Able to crawl under tables Flexibility to work different shift hours Work Hours 8:30 am – 4:30 pm #J-18808-Ljbffr The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc.
