Assistant Plant Manager

Seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to lead aluminum extrusion manufacturing. Direct daily plant operations, optimize press runs, and manage die setups while maximizing recovery rates and reducing scrap. Must have 5–7 years of production management experience, strong quality and cost control skills, and proficiency in manufacturing ERP systems (EPICS preferred). Apply today!

Responsibilities

 Direct and coordinate production and processing of aluminum extrusions for the
organization.
 Ensure that supplies, materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet
production targets.
 Focus on production recovery during extrusion process to minimize waste and use ability to
modify, alter or change work order during production run.
 Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory
requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering
budgetary limitations and time constraints.
 Involvement in all production meetings as required.
 Assist scheduling all customer orders based on shipping schedule to meet customer
demands
 Utilize experience in help with the set-up, performance and maintenance of the dies used in
the production process.
 Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or
processing problems.
 Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
