Tax Associate

Responsibilities: Maintain exemption certificates in our electronic management system. Update customer accounts with tax exemptions. Assisting with pulling customer exemption certificates for audits. Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements. Regular and reliable attendance. Upload and maintain tax certificates in the software database received for customer accounts. Assist with tax research and planning. Assist with sales tax audits. Oversee a high volume of emails during a standard shift. Oversee incoming sales tax question calls. Prepare, assist, and support with all other requests relating to sales tax. Work on special projects as needed. Always represent the company in a professional manner. Abide by all policies, rules and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures. Support corporate programs, goals and initiatives of the company. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Sales Tax experience preferred but not required, training will be available Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance and meet timelines as required. Strong and accurate data entry skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (outlook, work, excel, powerpoint, access, etc) Eagerness to learn and strong critical thinking skills are required. Be a collective team player. Proficient with various software programs including Trilogie, ECMS/ECM, Excel and Word. At Ferguson, we care for each other. Pay Range: $15.58 $25.39 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
