Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an AI Delivery Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product, technology, and AI. This is a unique role for someone who is product-minded and client-facing, but technical enough to understand how modern applications are designed, built, and deployed.

You may come from Product Management, Product Ownership, Technical Project Management, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, software engineering, or a similar technical role. Regardless of title, you should be comfortable taking an ambiguous business problem, defining what should be built, and working directly with engineers to turn that idea into a working solution.

This is not a traditional project management role. You'll need to understand APIs, backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and data well enough to participate meaningfully in technical conversations. You'll also be expected to actively use modern AI development tools to prototype, validate, and accelerate the delivery of solutions.

• Can understand technical tradeoffs and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Takes ownership of solutions from initial discovery through successful delivery
• Is naturally curious and constantly experimenting with new AI tools, technologies, and development workflows
• Thrives in fast-moving environments where requirements and technologies evolve quickly

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of AI-powered applications, automations, integrations, and internal tools
• Work directly with clients to understand business problems, workflows, technical requirements, and desired outcomes
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear product requirements and actionable technical plans
• Partner closely with engineers on application architecture, APIs, backend services, data flows, integrations, and deployment
• Rapidly prototype and validate potential solutions using AI-assisted development tools
• Leverage AI throughout discovery, planning, development, testing, documentation, and delivery
• Participate meaningfully in technical conversations around architecture, data, cloud infrastructure, and engineering tradeoffs
• Manage priorities, remove blockers, and maintain momentum from initial concept through production delivery
• Communicate progress, decisions, risks, and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and incorporate AI into existing products and business processes
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine where they can create meaningful business value
• Help establish repeatable approaches for rapidly delivering AI-powered software solutions

Some Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience in a technical product, engineering, solutions, or software delivery role
• Experience working closely with software engineers to design, build, and ship applications
• Strong understanding of modern AI applications and LLM-powered products
• Active hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Working knowledge of backend development, including APIs, services, integrations, and application architecture
• Familiarity with a backend programming language such as Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, C#, or similar
• Understanding of SQL, relational databases, and fundamental data modeling concepts
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and how modern applications are deployed
• Ability to understand technical architecture, data flows, system integrations, and engineering tradeoffs
• Strong product mindset and ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to drive initiatives from discovery through delivery
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for experimenting with emerging AI tools and new approaches to building software
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• LLM-powered application development
• REST APIs and system integrations
• Backend services and application architecture
• Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, C#, or similar backend technologies
• SQL and relational databases
• Data modeling and data flows
• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Cloud-native application development
• Modern software development lifecycle and deployment practices

• AI-assisted prototyping and development workflows

Nice-to-Haves

• Hands-on experience building APIs, automations, integrations, or internal applications
• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building applications using LLM APIs
• Experience with RAG, AI agents, tool calling, or AI workflow orchestration
• Experience with agentic development workflows
• Consulting, agency, or client-facing software delivery experience
• Experience taking products, applications, or internal tools from 0 to 1
• Experience rapidly prototyping software solutions
• Experience identifying and automating manual business workflows
• Experience working directly with clients to define and deliver technical solutions

100% Remote for the right candidate

Other Information

Salary Range: $70,000 - $130,000+

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it.

We work with security-conscious clients, so background checks will be required.

Salary dependent upon experience.
