CNO Developer

Position Overview Nightwing is a cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence services company. We are seeking a CNO Software Developer for our CODEX team. Responsibilities Design and implement custom software tools and techniques primarily using Python, C++ and Java. Develop applications for Windows and Linux environments. Diagnose and debug customer problems using industry‑standard and custom toolsets. Perform end‑to‑end design, development, and standard testing of software. Write documentation for operating and supporting the developed software. Develop toolchains and helper tools and use debuggers, disassemblers, and other diagnostic software. Attend design meetings, mentor junior developers, and perform code reviews. Collaborate with other developers and customer personnel to solve problems and communicate requirements, status, and other information. Technical Requirements 5–7 years of experience programming in C/C++ (or similar) and Python. In‑depth understanding of network protocols and operating‑system internals. Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar binary analysis tools. Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts. Knowledge of common CNO techniques. Ability to gather requirements and design solutions with minimal oversight. Ability to present development plans and forecast deliverables. Strong familiarity with software security technologies such as ASLR and DEP. Experience with additional architectures (ARM, RISC, PPC, etc.). Security Clearance Top Secret/SCI + CI Poly required. Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Salary & Benefits Salary ranges from $77,000 to $163,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
