Join Rinchem and be part of shaping a brighter future for global technology.Great people and a great place to workExciting and challenging work that helps build the future of technology from the foundation upFlexible working environment where you can fit life around work—we call that balanceOpportunity to guide and lead others while furthering your careerSupports warehouse Supervisor and Manager in daily functions and helps drive overall team successFills in when team members are absent and as business needs dictateResponsible for support of warehouse Supervisor/Manager, performance of their team, and that all tasks are performed safely, accurately and on timeOperates and demonstrates proficiency in every Warehouse Tech job function, and will serve as a trainer for those functions; will also support warehouse Supervisor in ensuring Team Members are current on all regulatory and safety trainingServes as first point of contact for Warehouse Tech questions and in providing assistanceSupports Warehouse Tech team members by imparting knowledge and expertise of job functionsSupports Supervisor/Manager in ensuring that processes are properly documented, followed and continually improvedBalances daily workload and makes necessary adjustments to minimize overtime; accomplishes daily completion targetsSupport Supervisors and Managers in investigation of deviations as appropriate; collaborates to identify and solve work-related problemsEscalates any potential safety, quality and employee concerns, including injury and accident reportingEscalates personnel problems, complaints, and formal grievances when possible, or escalates them to the Supervisor/Manager and HR for resolutionDay-to-day coaching of employees in work-related activities, including personal growth and job enrichmentEscalates to Supervisor and HR when formal documented coaching or counseling memos may be needed for employees in work-related activitiesMaintains showcase standards ensuring safety and that the warehouse is always ready for presentationParticipates in and/or conducts safety, quality or other team meetingsEscalates defects through POI, cycle times, double check, Paretos and supports efforts to eliminate defectsSupports Clean Room as applicableSupports EOS as applicableMaintains safety and security standards by reporting any items or people within the service center which appear to be out of order to management immediatelyParticipates in safety, quality or other committee memberships as neededFamiliarity with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA, RCRA and Dept of Homeland Security Site Security PlanExperience and Education:3+ year of experience in a warehouse environmentForklift experience preferredHigh School Diploma or GEDDemonstrated working knowledge of Warehouse job functions in order to provide support to the Supervisor and teamCommunication Skills:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to support Supervisor, Manager and team in writing of reports and correspondenceAbility to speak effectively before groups of employeesAbility to effectively relate to all levels of employees, and build and maintain successful relationshipsComputer Skills:Proficiency knowledge of Microsoft OfficeProficiency knowledge of WMS systems or related warehouse systemProficiency in applicable programsOther Skills and Abilities:Ability to write routine reports and correspondencePeriodically lift up to 50 lbsRead, write, speak, and comprehend the English languageSee both distance and details at close range, within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses)Identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device)Adapt your schedule as needed to accommodate the business requirements, which may involve occasional early arrivals, late stays, and last-minute adjustments.
