Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients facing mood disorders to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to meet client needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them on their journey to recovery.

• Maintain meticulous records to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to refine intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LMFTs work primarily with individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will have the opportunity to support a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. This role is critical in helping clients navigate their emotional challenges and build pathways toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
