Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clinical X) Neuroradiology

Position Overview Neuroradiology Faculty Salary range: $400,000 - $420,000, with annual negotiation. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position Description The Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Diego is seeking fellowship‑trained neuroradiologists to serve as full‑time faculty in our Neuroradiology Division. The role supports advanced imaging services across UC San Diego Health, the region’s only academic health system, and includes clinical, teaching, and scholarly responsibilities. Responsibilities Interpret adult brain, head and neck, and spine imaging studies (CT and MRI). Participate in advanced neuroimaging techniques and multidisciplinary care. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to scholarly and research activities. Attend conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and other division and departmental activities. Support a range of departmental functions and may have the opportunity for hybrid work, depending on clinical needs. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) MD, DO, or equivalent degree. Current fellow in an ACGME‑accredited Neuroradiology program or completion of such a fellowship. Eligibility for a California medical license or equivalent certification. Additional qualifications (required at time of appointment) Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology at appointment start. Preferred qualifications At least one year of clinical teaching experience.
