Job Description

The Heat Treat/Warehouse role involves managing heat treating processes and warehouse operations in a medium-sized team, focusing on quality control and efficient material handling. This position supports production by operating batch and continuous furnaces and ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, and documentation, all while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards. The role operates on both day and night shifts with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform heat treating using batch and continuous furnace processes
Manage warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and material handling
Conduct routine equipment maintenance to ensure operational reliability
Implement quality control measures for heat-treated materials
Maintain accurate documentation and production support records
Support production schedules through efficient workflow management

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in heat treating processes
Familiarity with heat treating equipment, including batch and continuous furnaces
Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse safety procedures
Proficient in material handling techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills
