SeamstressWe are looking for an experienced Upholstery / Seamstress professional to join a creative manufacturing and fabrication team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience sewing fabrics, upholstery, and fabricating custom textile pieces.The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with different fabrics and materials to produce high-quality finished products.Key ResponsibilitiesSew and assemble a variety of fabrics and textile materialsPerform upholstery work on furniture, fixtures, displays, and custom piecesOperate industrial sewing machines and related equipmentMeasure, cut, and prepare fabric for sewing and upholstery projectsFollow patterns, measurements, drawings, and work instructionsStitch seams, hems, edges, and other fabric componentsInstall and secure fabric over various surfaces and structuresInspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and appearanceMake adjustments and repairs as neededWork with different types of fabrics and materialsMaintain sewing machines, tools, and work areasFollow safety procedures and maintain an organized workspaceWork efficiently to meet production deadlinesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious seamstress, sewing, or upholstery experience requiredExperience with industrial sewing machines preferredAbility to sew and work with various fabricsUpholstery experience strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipAbility to accurately measure and follow patterns or specificationsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable and dependableAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment
