Senior Specialist, Central Contract Services

Senior Specialist supporting Merck's National Contract Operations & Supply Chain team in managing pharmaceutical contracts across the US healthcare system. Responsible for eligibility and membership management, chargeback resolution, data analysis, and driving continuous improvement of core contract activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee customer eligibility, membership, and chargeback management activities
- Investigate data validation issues and resolve customer inquiries with cross-functional teams
- Research and adjudicate claim deductions in alignment with distribution agreements
- Develop and implement contract strategies with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify process improvements and lead standard operating procedure development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong account management and contract management expertise
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial acumen
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Word
- Demonstrated project management and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with ModelN and pharmacy/contract management systems
- Preferred: 3+ years in managed care contracting or pharmaceutical industry
