Job Details Job Location: Primary Fleming Island - FI, FL 32003 Position: Front Office Check-In / Check-Out Representative Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and over the phone, providing excellent customer service. Schedule appointments efficiently to optimize provider availability and treatment room use. Monitor patient flow and communicate delays to providers when necessary. Answer patient inquiries and help ease anxieties, maintaining a calm and welcoming reception area. Maintain and update patient records and accounts with accurate personal and financial information. Collect co-pays, balance, and assist with billing and credit policies as needed. Maintain office supplies and equipment by monitoring inventory and ordering as necessary. Assist during patient emergencies by following established protocols. Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality are always maintained. Follow office policies and procedures, and recommend improvements where applicable. Collaborate with team members to support overall office efficiency and patient satisfaction. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in scheduling, word processing, and general office software. Professional demeanor with a team-oriented mindset. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Flexibility and reliability are essential.
